This mastermind is designed around a unique focus: positioning. Your market position is the strategy for how you penetrate, adapt, and occupy a favorable part of the market. It's about denying the strengths of competitors by existing strongly for your customers.

The group is led by Nic von Schneider, an internationally-recognized market strategist and award-winning digital marketing expert, and Nate Morse, award-winning conversion marketer and author.

Together, we have worked across almost every industry for over a decade to merge business strategy and marketing tactics together for real growth.

Engineered from over 6 years of teaching masterminds and hundreds of classes taught inside University Programs, Business Ideation Sessions for Government Programs, and even the Global Entrepreneurship Network, the War Table Mastermind combines a structured course into an open group consulting model for maximum impact and flexible growth.


How it works

We don’t play checkers here.

This is for chess masters to discuss the winning tactics of tomorrow. We will not cover the journey to basecamp, our topics will cover the top 10% of proven tactics that literally no other mastermind can touch on. Besides focusing on growth, we have fun too.

We collaboratively explore some of the most powerful strategies used by Fortune 500 companies when they internally launch a new company - adapted to be actionable for fast adopters like you.

The War Table provides:

  • Event Recordings: All live events are recorded so you don’t need to worry about missing them.
  • Frameworks & Tools: Get our frameworks and tools to build, test, maintain, and optimize business systems for growth.
  • Community: online community where you can converse with other founders employing our radical strategies.
  • Live events: online access to two live events hosted each year, one in Detroit and one in Nashville.
  • Coaching: a 1-hour monthly group Q&A call on Zoom where you can ask Nic von Schneider questions live.
  • Accountability: Regular check-ins to measure previous goals and help hold you accountable to competitive growth.

Sessions

The sessions are built on growing a thriving business in today’s digital-focused environment where differentiation is the only path to success.

The Mastermind takes place weekly on Tuesdays from 12-1pm EST. Sessions are recorded and exercises are shared directly with the community within a couple days of being recorded. Exercises can be revisted any time.

We often host additional, optional sessions such as guest experts to provide massive insight into diverse tactics. Those sessions will generally take place at the end of each month and are usually annouced two weeks in advance.


Application

The War Table Mastermind takes applications but does not automatically promise entrance. Seats at the table are intentionally limited to ensure deep dives for each person, every time.

We keep a strict balance on collaborative dynamics between each business and limit businesses of similiar industries in similiar environments so we can discuss growth freely.

Nic von Schneider

Nic feeds off of competition. Once the leader of a Market Validation Team for a Startup Accelerator, Nic von Schneider has the proven ability to bridge the growth of business and marketing together. Responsible for measuring market due dilligence for early stage funded startups, he and his team worked to launched a winning strategy by taking a slice of the market from existing brands and grow them as quickly as possible.

For almost 15 years, Nic has been operating as an internationally-recognized Market Positioning Consultant with organizations of every size. While he has experience in launching campaigns for Fortune 500, he has a personal passion in teaching startup founders and business leaders.

Nic currently operates a multi award-winning branding agency named GLYPH, consults with a Venture Capital company, owned his own startup incubator, is an active participant in several businesses in the innovation space, has managed a marketing mastermind for the last 6 years, and is putting the finishing touches on an upcoming book, "Winning The Brand War".

Nate's north star is growth. He's had 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, and growth strategy for high ticket industries which led to the creation of APEX.

He has an obsession with the buyer's journey and is not afraid to get his hands dirty to create clever solutions that convert. He loves training and competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, reading, and hanging out with his dog Max.

Nate is the founder of APEX Conversion, a high impact outreach agency focused on bridging customer culture and next-generation conversion marketing together. He is also the author of The LinkedIn High Ticket Handbook.
